Bellingham Kayak Polo

What's better than splashing around in your kayak on Lake Padden every Tuesday at 6:00 between May and August? Talking about it on this blog between September and April! This is the ultimate source for information about the Bellingham Kayak Polo scene!

One more game!

Hello All!

Well, I lied again. Looks like we're going to play one more game and we'll see what happens from there. So, see you all Tuesday, September 14th, 6:00 at Lake Padden for yet another post season game!

Cheers!

Kate.

Just Kidding!

Well, I lied. Kayak polo enthusiasts will convene on Lake Padden next Tuesday night (9/7/2004) at 6:00 for what I understand will be our last game of the season. So, bring your boats, paddles, PFDs and a buddy and we'll splash around for a couple hours.

And, keep checking back for photos of last Tuesday's game. We had a photographer on land and one on the water shooting during the game but the best photos came from the party at Ed's after dark!

One more thing. Kristy and Billy are trying to put together a little trip out to Neah bay for some surf kayaking in September. Dates TBA, but I'll post them as soon as we know. If you want to go, post a comment to this note and we'll get you information.

Cheers!

Kate.

Welcome to Bellingham Kayak Polo!

Well you've found us! Too bad the season's over. Never fear! Kayak Polo will start up again in May and we're going to try and do some stuff between now and then so keep your eyes peeled! I'll update the blog as new kayak polo-esk opportunities come to my attention.

Also, for kayak polo veterans, this is a great place to stay in touch between seasons. There's more to kayaking than just polo so maybe we can get some trips together or something! Maybe we can just huddle together and drink Boundary Bay beer this winter.

Happy posting!

Kate.
